From Houston Chronicle's Prime Property Blog:
Chuy's, a 30-year-old Mexican restaurant chain that started in Austin and is now in seven states, is coming to Sugar Land.
The company confirms in an email:
"We are looking at opening our first Sugar Land location late this year. We can't give out too many specifics at this time but you can follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our progress."
Rubicon Realty Group reports on its website that Chuy's has signed a recent ground lease with Rubicon as part of the Phase IV development at The Crossing at Telfair. It calls the development "one of the premier" examples in the Houston area.
Rubicon didn't immediately return a call for comment.
